ABOUT LAURA
Edinburgh based makeup artist, Laura Hood, trained with some of Scotland's best makeup artists, stylists and photographers at GlamCandy Makeup School, Edinburgh.
With a natural talent for makeup she honed her skills in all areas of makeup artistry, specialising in bridal and beauty editorial. She is adept at translating briefs to suit the individual and uses a variety of luxury makeup and skincare brands including MAC, Estee Lauder, Nars, Elemis, Bobbi Brown and Urban Decay.

Knowing what you want for your bridal look can be tricky so Laura makes sure she spends as long as neccesary with you to determine the right style during your consultation. Makeup should highlight your natural beauty and Laura is a believer in working with every bride as an individual.

Laura has worked with numerous photographers on a variety of shoots, including look books, magazine covers and portrait shoots.
She is quick to establish friendly working relationships and interprets client briefs in a consistenly succesful and stylish way.
